Yes, that's right. I'm giving away THREE copies of One Thousand and One Tears.
It's pretty easy to enter to win.

I would LOVE to read your book! I have adopted 2 children from China and we are in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia. My sister and I were fortunate enough to travel together to bring our daughters home from China for our first adoption. She has since adopted another child from China as well. I would love to share the two other books with her and with a friend of mine who has adopted a child from Russia and one from China. All our children are young right now, but I know they will all at some point have the same questions your daughter did, so would love to hear your perspective.
ReplyDeleteI am going to share your button on my blog as well.

I would love, love, love to have a copy of this book!!! My son, just last night, was crying for an hour because he wanted to meet his birth mother. He's from China also, so this might be an impossibility. He has so many questions. I would like to think this book would help. :)
ReplyDeleteOh boy, that is tough. My daughter looks and looks at the pictures in the book and says that her birthmommy maybe looked like that. It does help that she has some sort of visual and someone she will probably never meet. It is sooooo hard, but I pray that this will help fill in the blanks for our kiddos! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'd love to have a copy of your book!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteOur youngest son was adopted from China at the age of 7 1/2. I would love a book like this for him. Thanks for the chance to win your book!
ReplyDeleteMy kids were both adopted from China. If my memory is correct, my first was a bit of an inspiration to you. And you were a bit of the inspiration for me and my 2nd. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI posted this on FB also! (Leslie)
ReplyDeleteI've already bought your book, but would love to give it to a friend that's still waiting. ~ Lois
ReplyDeleteLois--I am so glad you liked it and you would like to share it with a friend! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteMy wife and I are preparing for our adoption of a special needs girl coming from China. We often think and pray about what she (and we) may or may not know about her past and how we are going to address that with her when she is old enough to think about it. Her name is Grace and we cannot wait to meet her. Such a great "God did this!" story. :-) if you want, here is our lame attempt at blogging about it start around January 2012: http://www.alongway2go.com/
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd love to win this book for my two beautiful daughters from China! I'll share on FB as well and will come back and comment again when I've done so!

We are in the process of adopting a little princess from China (with unrepaired CL/CP) and are waiting, waiting, waiting. Love that you are doing a giveaway and even more so, LOVE that you have written something like this, something that will surely impact your daughter (and so many others). What a blessing!!!! I'm going to put your Amazon link on my blog. I just have to figure out how :)

ReplyDeleteApril--My daughter is also a Beijing Beauty! She came home in Aug. of 2009. I hope you make it to Shanghai soon to your waiting sweeties!

ReplyDeleteWould love to get a chance to win this book. adopted 2 little girls from China.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a book in order to help our kiddos gain a bit more understanding - and know that they are not alone in this. I love this concept and really want this book. We have two children adopted from China, a son and a daughter, both two years old. I fear these tugging questions deep in my heart as I know they will come out some day (sooner versus later). At least this book gives possibilities for answers versus, "I don't know and will will never know." Thank you for writing this.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this! I also grabbed your button for my blog:
